Nkuku's gorgeous Chunni chopping boards are a firm favourite. Each piece is handmade from sustainable mango wood. The natural grain of the wood and smooth finish makes them incredibly tactile and heavenly to use.
Words of Wisdom
These mango wood pieces are created from sustainable mango wood. The Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit and harvested over a number of years. Once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, they can be cut down and used to make these wooden pieces. This allows farmers to plant more trees and provides them with a supplementary income.
Care instructions
To care for your wood wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry immediately. Due to the natural beauty of these items there may be changes to the colour over time. To nourish and protect the natural wood rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a dry cloth.
