Be honest. Unless we are called Westley and/or Buttercup, anyone we marry will be a little bit wrong for us. But if we discount marrying for reasons of land, riches or dynastic alliance, and if we stop chasing the Romantic will-o’-the-wisp known as true love, we can begin to look at marriage as a skill which can be practiced, rehearsed, learned, and strengthened. No-one would embark on a life spent ice-skating or playing the violin without getting the proper training. Why treat marriage -or Mawwaige - differently?
